Shelley is dedicated and passionate about helping others feel and look their best! She has been an instructor at the Dayton School of Medical Massage and started her practice with specialization in deep tissue, myofascial release, and neuromuscular therapies. She is certified in pre-natal massage and trained in manual lymphatic therapies by ACOLS (Vodder Technique), which is a premier provider in Lymphedema education worldwide. Shelley's new-found love for lymphatics has allowed her to start helping clients recover quicker post-surgery, as well as treat patients with fibromyalgia, migraines, and lipedema. After childbirth, or when you just want to simply look and feel your best, the body sculpting techniques using lymphatic pathways are a great option to eliminate water weight as well as excess metabolic waste in the body.
Medical Massage Therapy includes the application of specialized techniques like trigger point therapy, neuromuscular therapy, MET, and myofascial release to improve function and reduce pain. Hot towels, Graston techniques, and cupping may be included depending on the clients needs.
