Dr. Doody founded Harvard Square Chiropractic in 2009 after six years as an associate at practices across the Greater Boston area — and after his own experience as a patient changed the direction of his career. A severe disc injury during his undergraduate years introduced him to a chiropractor who made surgery unnecessary. That outcome stuck with him. Patrick earned his B.S. in Biology from SUNY Geneseo and his Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. He’s a certified Graston Technique provider and specializes in running injuries, athletic injuries, repetitive strain, and postural issues — including the occupational wear that comes from long hours at a desk. His whole-person approach means he’s looking for underlying causes, not just the symptom you came in with. When he’s not in the office, Patrick is somewhere in the country running a half marathon. He’s working through all 50 states. He’s also coached youth football, soccer, and basketball. And if you ask, he might tell you about the dogs and goats (yes, goats!) he has at home. Specialties: Running injuries · Athletic injuries · Repetitive strain · Postural care · Disc conditions · Graston Technique
