Meet Dr. Jacqui Kinzig, D.Ac., L.Ac. Dr. Jacqui is the founder of Sustaining Health Acupuncture and one of the first acupuncturists in Kentucky to earn the title Doctor of Acupuncture. She studied biology and experimental psychology at the University of Kentucky before attending the American Institute of Alternative Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. After graduating Summa Cum laude with her Master’s in Acupuncture, she completed the necessary requirements to become board certified by the National Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She completed her Doctorate of Acupuncture from the prestigious Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 2018 with a focus in pediatrics. Jacqui believes that both western medicine and acupuncture have their place in society; neither is “better” than the other. Instead, they work best when used together as part of an overall health plan. Her goal is to make acupuncture an easy, sensible part of her patient’s lives. She works hard to tailor treatments to each individual so that all of her patients are comfortable with their level of therapy.
