Dr. Zachary Walker received his Doctor of Chiropractic Summa Cum Laude from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis, MN in 2020. Prior to completing his doctorate, he attended the University of Calgary for his undergraduate studies, obtaining a Bachelor’s of Science in Human Biology. Born and raised in Medicine Hat, he welcomed the opportunity to complete his final preceptorship at The Ridge Spine & Sport Centre, under the mentorship of Dr. Sean Bourassa. Dr. Walker is an accredited ART provider (Spine), and is fully certified in rehabilitation and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization through FAKTR. He is also fully credentialed in performing the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and trained in assessment and adjustments of the spine through Motion Palpation Institute (MPI). He has a special interest in chronic pain management and the incorporation of movement in treatment. Dr. Walker is currently the Trainer for the U16 AAA SEAC hockey team and has been involved in minor hockey coaching roles in the past. In addition, he was co-chair of the Canadian Club during his time at the Northwestern Health Sciences University. Dr. Walker enjoys spending time outdoors with his Blue Heeler, Ollie, and continues his lifelong interest in sports, most notably, hockey, golf, snowboarding & skiing.
