Brenda graduated with Honours with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy from The University of Malta. During her years working as a physiotherapist in Malta she has worked in both the private outpatient and hospital inpatient setting. Through this, she has built up a broad platform of knowledge by treating different clients, with conditions ranging from but not limited to orthopedic, respiratory and neurological. Having had the opportunity to work closely in different settings with clients from the pediatric through to geriatric generations offers Brenda an insight to individualized treatment plans. She enjoys tailoring care to each client’s specific needs and lifestyle limitations with a professional, friendly and light-natured approach. She likes to use a variety of treatments, including electrotherapy, manual therapy and always emphasizes the importance of an individualized exercise and stretching programs. Collaborating with the client and achieving mutually set therapy goals is important to her. Brenda also has a broad experience with WSIB and MVA cases. Always ready to answer your questions, she will work with you to guide you through your rehabilitation process. In her quest to offer her clients the best care possible, Brenda priorities furthering studies in manual therapy and has a particular interest in temporomandibular joint disorders. She looks forward to broadening her knowledge and is planning on pursuing a Master’s Degree. In addition to registration with The College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, Brenda holds an APPI certificate in Pilates Matwork 1 and Aromatherapy. She is also certified in Acupuncture and Dry Needling. In her spare time, Brenda enjoys spending time with her family and dog ‘Roxy’ An avid sports fan, she loves basketball and soccer, and enjoys shooting a few hoops or playing rec volleyball! She also has a passion for travel and the outdoors.

First appointment with the practitioner, 1 hour in length where they will assess the area of injury and formulate a personalized treatment plan.
