Beth completed her Master of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University and her Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Toronto at Mississauga. As a believer in life-long learning, Beth continues to gain more tolls in her therapy toolbox by taking relevant courses and reading scientific journals to inform her evidence-based practice. She has completed post-graduate education including the Soft Tissue Release, Contemporary Medical Acupuncture at McMaster University, and Level 1 Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy. Through her studies of the Contemporary Acupuncture, she learned the importance of involving the nervous system even when treating the orthopaedic conditions. She strives to find the root cause of the issues and treat the person as a whole. Beth’s goal is to help her clients to be in charge of their rehabilitation. She wants to help them get back to doing things that they love to do. Her treatment approach is individualized to meet the needs of the patients, using acupuncture, hands-on therapy, exercise, and education. During her free time, she enjoys nature walks, trying new foods, and travelling. She is fluent in both Korean and English.
