About Michael I completed my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, where I also played varsity volleyball for five years, before earning my Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. I take an active, practical approach to physiotherapy, combining hands-on treatment with individualized exercise and education to help people move better and return to the activities that matter to them. My goal is to create treatment plans that are collaborative, goal-driven, and realistic, whether someone is recovering from injury, managing persistent pain, or looking to stay active long term. I enjoy working with active individuals of all ages, with a particular interest in sport-related injuries. Having grown up playing a variety of sports, I bring a broad understanding of movement demands and training environments into my clinical practice. When I’m not in the clinic, you’ll often find me hiking in the mountains, skiing in the winter, or playing volleyball and golf. More recently, I’ve been getting into running and plan to run my first half marathon this summer!
