With over 15 years of experience, Michelle has worked countless on-site events, such as providing massage backstage to the RiverDance Troupe and post-event sports massage at Richmond's highly popular Monument Avenue 10K. She was a massage therapy instructor for 3 years and has built her own massage therapy private practice from the ground up! She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1999 with aSociology degree and then completed her massage therapy training at American Institute of Massage in 2003. She has advanced training in several areas; She is a Certified Medical Massage Practitioner, Nurturing the Mother Certified Prenatal Therapist and Certified Infant Massage Instructor. She is also a wife, busy mom of three beautiful childrenand is driven to provide a special and unique place for her clientsto heal.
Intuitive Therapeutic Massage is a holistic approach to the body to relieve both muscle & connective tissue tension below the surface. It helps to improve range of motion while also calming the bodys response to stress. Practitioner may use a variety of techniques to assist clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.
