Tim Hogan offers lomi lomi, Swedish, deep tissue, Kua Lua leg powered therapy, hot stone, reflexology, and is beginning to learn Ashiatsu. Integrating mountain healing energy from his Colorado upbringing with the mauka and mauna aloha of Hawai’i, Tim’s training includes lomi apprenticeship under Kumu Iwilani Nalua’i in upcountry Maui, whose diverse lineage and experience include structural integration and physical therapy influences. Surrounded by healing modalities since childhood, he is adept in light touch and deep tissue, specializing through his lineage in deep lomi and kua lua leg powered work, particularly for hips, gluts, hamstrings, and sacral/lower back areas. He has a natural healing ability that is intuitive and integrative, including self-care tools and techniques. Tim is trauma informed as a former ski patrol EMT, and for 2 years following the deadly Maui fires of 2023, he worked in tandem with Kanaka (Native Hawaiian) mental health professionals and other practitioners offering his skills in triage settings helping our kaiaulu recover. Tim is also an accomplished musician, father, former ski professional and public radio dj. His interests include sharing practical self care mana’o, balancing Western and nonwestern healing traditions, ethnobotany, herbology, and ethnomusicology.
