"Do you like being a massage therapist?" This is a question that I have been asked countless times throughout my career. I can honestly say I give the same answer every time..."I LOVE being a massage therapist!" The human body and what it is capable of fascinates me. Although I have a deep respect for traditional medicine, I also know and have experienced the healing effects of complementary medicine. I feel grateful that my life's path led me down the road to a career in massage therapy. It is deeply fulfilling to know that my hands are capable of helping someone out of their pain and stress when traditional medicine wasn't able to do so. I'm never the bearer of bad news, my work just makes people feel better. The opportunities in the field of massage therapy can be endless, so there's never a feeling of grinding out a work day. There are so many different types of bodywork to learn and so many different populations of people to reach. I've found that even after 9 years, my career is still evolving and I am in complete control of it's destiny. What an amazing feeling that is and even more amazing to "Do what I love and love what I do!"
