Jeff was born and raised in Clarington and grew up involved with many local sports teams, including junior hockey in Peterborough. Jeff was introduced to manual therapy at an early age by his father who started Hands in Motion. He started his health career in 2005 while working as a CanFit Pro certified personal trainer at Goodlife Fitness clubs in Peterborough ON. During that time he attended Fleming College where he would receive an Advanced Diploma as a Registered Massage Therapist in 2007. Jeff started working at Hands in Motion in 2007 as an RMT. After a short year of work he took his studies to Bond University in Australia to pursue a degree in Exercise Science. While attending school he also worked as a massage therapist and personal trainer. He graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor’s of Science and upon returning to Canada was accepted into the Physiotherapy program at McMaster University. In 2013 Jeff graduated with his Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. Jeff has continued his post- grad education by obtaining his Advanced diploma in Manual and Manipulative Physical Therapy, through the Orthopaedic Division of the CPA. He is fully accredited with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT). Jeff has also continued his pursuit of education by completing courses in concussion management, Mulligan manual therapy concept, spinal manipulation and Integrated Dry Needling (IDN). Outside of the clinic Jeff remains dedicated to health and fitness. He can always be found in the gym lifting weights, out on the golf course pretending he can golf, and on the ice still trying to live the dream playing men’s league hockey.
