**Dr. Carrie Snaychuk** graduated from UBC with a bachelor's degree in _Human Kinetics_ majoring in _Clinical Exercise Physiology_. During that time she was also certified as a personal trainer under the *Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP)*. She went on to complete her _Doctor of Chiropractic_ degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto where she graduated with honours. Her experience as a college basketball player and as a forest firefighter cultivated a passion for health, nature, and performance. She was driven to pursue a career in healthcare where she has dedicated herself to helping her community experience healthy longevity through movement, education, and building lifelong strategies, not just a _quick fix_. Carrie balances her practice with her passion for outdoor activities such as running, hiking, mountain biking, and enjoying a warm coffee with fresh homemade sourdough bread.
