Dr. Sarah Beimers was born and raised on a dairy farm outside Pembroke. She attended Fellowes High School where she balanced sports, academics, extra-curriculars and working. Dr. Beimers’ academic career continued at Queen’s University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. She then went on to study at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and graduated Summa Cum Laude as a Doctor of Chiropractic. While studying at CMCC, Dr. Beimers became certified in contemporary medical acupuncture and took courses in active release techniques (ART) and movement assessments and patterning. Dr. Beimers is passionate about patient-centered health care and applies an evidence-based approach to her practice. She combines research with the values and beliefs of her patients to create an individualized treatment plan for them. Dr. Beimers provides a unique combination of patient education, hands-on care (adjustments, mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, acupuncture), exercise, and lifestyle modifications to each of her patients to help them reach their goals and move and feel better. She strives to have every patient understand their condition and use that information to help themselves improve their well-being.
