Nana (Afua) is a graduate from the Sutherland- Chan school of massage therapy. Along side being a massage therapist Nana also has a bachelors degree in kinesiology from the university of Windsor. Nana has a passion for helping and healing others which is what lead her to the career of massage therapy. Being a former athlete, student athletic therapist for her university volleyball team and current fitness enthusiasts, nana combines her knowledge of common athletic injuries, with her knowledge of remedial exercise to help created individualized treatment plans for her patients both athletic and non athletic so they can get back to their everyday routines as soon as possible. She is experienced in treating many musculoskeletal conditions using myofascial release, trigger point therapy, hydrotherapy, rhythmic mobilizations, joint mobilizations, and Swedish massage. Not only is nana experienced in working with athletes but she also has experience in working with pregnant patients at all stages of pregnancy. She has the knowledge and training to adjust her treatments to fit the needs of those who are dealing with complications in their pregnancies making them high risk. She also has experience in working with and treating a variety of populations from senior patients, stroke survivors, and breast cancer patients. Nana is dedicated to providing her patients with the best care and therapeutic experience needed to get them back to where they want to be.
