Dr. Karm’s passion for chiropractic care stems from her athletic background, love for kinesiology, and desire to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. She began her academic journey at the University of Guelph where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics, with a minor in Human Nutrition and Nutraceuticals. She then attended chiropractic college at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon, where she honed her skills in evidence-based, patient centered care and completed a Masters degree in Sports Medicine. As licensed chiropractor, she holds additional certifications in integrated needling (acupuncture) and concussion care. Her treatment approach integrates classic chiropractic techniques with contemporary therapies such as myofascial release, cupping, acupuncture, and rehabilitative exercise, offering a comprehensive approach that targets the underlying cause of each patient’s concerns. She is also experienced in gentle, low-force techniques including activator therapy, drop-piece adjustments, and joint mobilization to ensure a comfortable experience for every patient. Outside the clinic, Karm enjoys staying active by going to the gym, playing sports, or attending group classes like yoga. She also loves spending quality time with friends and family and unwinds by reading a good book.
