Magdalena is a registered Physiotherapist and Pelvic Health Specialist dedicated to helping individuals move with confidence and live pain-free. Raised in Airdrie, she returned to her hometown in 2016 after earning her Master of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2015. Prior to that, she completed a Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of Calgary in 2010 and has been immersed in the healthcare field ever since. Her commitment to professional growth led her to attain certifications as a Certified Exercise Specialist and Certified Exercise Physiologist. Magdalena has completed extensive post-graduate training in orthopaedics, manual therapy, dry needling, and the prevention and treatment of running injuries. In addition, she has specialized in Pelvic Health, focusing on conditions such as Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI), Overactive Bladder Syndrome (OABS), Pregnancy-Related Pelvic Girdle Pain (PRPGP), Diastasis Rectus Abdominis (DRA), postpartum recovery, and pelvic health during the menopause transition. Her approach to physiotherapy is rooted in treating the whole person, not just a single symptom or body part. She takes the time to uncover the root cause of pain or dysfunction, blending evidence-based practice with strong clinical reasoning to create individualized treatment plans. Above all, she is passionate about empowering her clients with knowledge—helping them understand their bodies so they can take an active role in their own recovery and well-being. Magdalena’s passion for pelvic health grew even stronger after the births of her two daughters in 2016 and 2019. She believes every woman deserves access to informed care and support throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and into menopause transition. She specializes in addressing concerns such as pelvic pain, urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and DRA, ensuring her clients receive comprehensive and compassionate care. In addition, she has a special interest in working with dancers and runners, blending her expertise in movement with her personal background in dance. Outside of the clinic, you’ll often find Magdalena running or biking with her family around Airdrie, practicing yoga, or enjoying the artistry of ballet. A former dancer and dance instructor, she continues to be connected to the dance community.
