Aaron is a Registered Physiotherapist who received his Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Ottawa after completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Health and Education at Laurentian University in Sudbury. Aaron’s background in both human movement and personal training allowed him to pursue a student trainer role with the Sudbury Wolves of the Ontario Hockey League during his time at Laurentian University. As part of this experience, Aaron assisted with the implementation of strength and conditioning routines, and performed fitness testing for elite level athletes. Being with the team every day allowed Aaron to treat, manage and prevent various injuries, as well as prepare the players for game time. As a Physiotherapist, Aaron uses a combination of patient education, manual therapy and exercise prescription as the foundations to his evidence-based practice. Although hockey & golf are some of Aaron’s strong interests, he is very passionate about the career he has chosen and as a result, takes pride in helping athletes of all sports, levels and ages. Aaron has continued his education by taking post-graduate courses including: Functional Dry Needling, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA), Titleist Performance Institute Certification (TPI Medical Level 1 & 2) , New Trends in the Prevention of Running Injuries and Personal Trainer Certification with the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology (CSEP). Aaron is a bilingual therapist who is happy to provide services in both English and French.

E-Consult - Assessment

Sometimes, you aren't able to make it into the clinic to see your therapist. The current environment, with self-isolation or quarantine during a time of sickness around COVID-19 is one example, but video appointments are used more and more in today's health care environment. E-consults are a way to cut down on travel, save time away from work, or to use if you don't have anyone to watch the people you are caregiving for yourself. We offer secure, one on one time with you to check on how your injury is progressing, to review and progress your exercises, lead you through a mobility or breathing session, or to consult on other exercise modalities you may want to try out.
