Hi, I’m Nikola, a Registered Massage Therapist. My approach is simple: I focus on treating the root cause of an issue, even when it’s not where the symptoms are felt. Instead of treating symptoms alone, I rely on manual and visual assessment to understand what the body is doing as a whole. The body often tells a clearer story than symptoms by themselves. For example: Pain in the shoulder doesn’t always mean the shoulder is the problem — it could be coming from how the hip is moving and pulling through the body. Pain in the sole of the foot (such as plantar fasciitis) doesn’t always mean the foot or shoes are the issue; it can be a rotation in the hip and loading the leg. While I always listen to my clients’ concerns, I base treatments on my assessment findings and clinical knowledge to create the treatment, and I explain what I’m doing and why. My goal is effective, honest treatment — not quick fixes.
