Sophia graduated from the Vancouver School of Bodywork and Massage in 2012 and the Registered Massage Therapy program at Langara College in 2018. Having experience in both bodywork and clinical massage, Sophia has an approach that integrates her in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and systemic conditions with her understanding of the other complex factors that influence pain and recovery. Her treatment style consists of deep flow relaxation, trigger point therapy, myofascial release, breath work and passive and active stretching. Sophia is always adding further tools to her practice through ongoing education including training to help bridge the gap in care for people recovering from surgeries including mastectomies, top-surgery, and augmentation. In her free time Sophia enjoys playing pickleball, singing, going on forest adventures with her dog, gardening and interior design projects.
