Katie obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Medicine from the prestigious Beijing University in 2007 and has been a licensed Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine since 2008. With over 15 years of experience, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice, delivering personalized and holistic care to each of her patients . Katie began her career at the International Cardiology Hospital in Kyiv, Ukraine, where she worked in the rehabilitation centre . During her time there, she supported patients recovering from cardiologic surgeries, including soldiers affected by the aftermath of these procedures. Her work focused on helping those suffering from paralysis, chronic pain, and post-surgical side effects, solidifying her skills in managing complex health conditions . In 2019, Katie relocated to Canada and has since been practicing as a licensed acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner. In 2022, she expanded her expertise by becoming a licensed herbalist, integrating the powerful effects of herbal medicine into her treatments. Katie is passionate about the synergy of acupuncture and herbal remedies, believing that combined, they offer a comprehensive and highly effective treatment for a wide range of health issues.
