Kirstyn is a registered physiotherapist with a Master of Science in Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology-Psychology from the University of New Brunswick. Her academic background fostered a strong understanding of the mind-body connection, which continues to guide her holistic approach to care. Kirstyn is passionate about woman’s health care and has developed her knowledge through ongoing pelvic floor physiotherapy education. She works with individuals to assess and treat pelvic pain, urinary and bowel incontinence, pregnancy-related concerns, and aids clients in their postpartum recovery. Her approach emphasizes thorough assessment, individualized treatment planning, and empowering clients to better understand their symptoms and actively participate in their recovery. In addition to her pelvic health work, Kirstyn has experience treating a broad range of orthopedic, pediatric, and persistent pain conditions, allowing her to consider the whole person when addressing complex or overlapping presentations. She is committed to evidence-based practice and regularly integrates current research and continuing education into her clinical care to ensure high-quality, up-to-date treatment. Outside of the clinic, Kirstyn enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog Tilly, reading, and developing her painting skills.
