In her practice of Biodynamic Osteopathy, Cassia Rocha D.O found the perfect way to integrate the values and ideas that had driven her previous careers as a biologist and a journalist: empathy with living beings, love of Nature and desire for a better world. Biodynamic is a rare form of Osteopathy where Science and Art are in perfect integration to create deep access to the body’s innate intelligence using only very gentle, light touch. This is the choice approach to treat across the spectrum of dysfunction and health conditions —from pains and aches to internal organs and emotional problems such as anxiety and depression. As a result, all kinds of patients, from newborn babies to the elderly can benefit from the treatment. Cassia obtained her BSc (Hons) in Osteopathy in 2004 in England, at the European School of Osteopathy, where she taught for 5 years. She has concluded the post-graduate Biodynamic programme and, as part of her continuing education, she carries on studying traditional Osteopathy with the founder of the Biodynamic approach in the US. Born in Brazil, Cassia has lived in New Zealand and the UK, and speaks fluent French, English, Portuguese and Spanish.
A detailed history is taken of medical and non-medical significant events in your life (trauma, accidents, surgery, treatment, medication).
