Sasha is a graduate from the Massage Therapy program at Medix College in Toronto. Prior to becoming a Registered Massage Therapist, she worked as a Certified Athletic Therapist for seven years where she gained an in-depth knowledge of the body and injury rehabilitation. Sasha was involved in a variety of sports growing up including ringette, hockey, soccer, field hockey and snowboarding. Throughout university, she continued her athletic pursuits by playing competitive ringette and soccer, while also competing for the varsity field hockey team at York University. After completing her Honours Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health Sciences at York University, she then pursued a two year advanced standing certificate program in Athletic Therapy. Since then, she has worked extensively with high performance athletes in a variety of sports including basketball, field hockey, ice hockey, track & field and rugby at both the collegiate and provincial levels. Sasha has a wealth of knowledge in treating musculoskeletal injuries and creating personalized, sport-specific rehabilitation programs. She is certified in cupping therapy through Cupping Canada, teaches an Athletic Taping course to other health professionals and is eager to continue learning to further her knowledge with the goal to help her clients return to a pain-free life. Outside of work, Sasha loves to run, hike, go backcountry camping and watch Grey’s Anatomy with her cat Ziggy.
This 60-minute session is exclusively for first-time massage therapy clients at SportSide Medical. Your therapist will spend the first 10–15 minutes reviewing your completed intake forms, discussing your health history, and understanding your goals to ensure a safe, personalized treatment. The remaining time will be devoted to a targeted therapeutic massage tailored to your needs. Note for returning patients: If you’ve been to SportSide before, please book under “Massage Therapy” and choose your preferred time slot.
