Pursuit of Motion Physiotherapy
4 Parkdale Crescent NW, 100, Calgary, AB, T2N 3T8
Hi, I’m Carly! I grew up in Grande Prairie before spending time in Camrose and Edmonton, eventually settling in Calgary. Growing up, sports were a huge part of my life - whether competing seriously or battling for bragging rights with my three older siblings. That competitive spirit and love for movement naturally led me to pursue a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. During that time, I played college basketball for the Grande Prairie Regional College Wolves before transferring to Augustana, where I graduated. After experiencing my fair share of injuries, I saw firsthand the impact physiotherapy can have on someone’s life. That experience inspired me to complete my Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta, graduating in 2025–2026. I believe physiotherapy should be a true collaboration between therapist and client, grounded in a safe and supportive environment. My goal is to empower individuals with the knowledge, exercises, and confidence they need to take an active role in their recovery. I’m passionate about helping people return to the activities they love - whether that’s sport, work, or everyday life. Outside of the clinic, you can find me at the gym, watching just about any sport, or exploring new local coffee shops (recommendations are always welcome!).
This involves a detailed discussion and physical assessment with patients to narrow down their injury or condition. During this session you will also be provided with treatment techniques to help you reach your goals (manual therapy, exercise, self-management techniques).
