Mitra is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy in 2023. Her practice can be summed up as “science based meets holistic approach.” By listening to her patients’ goals, assessing their main complaints, and developing a personalized treatment plan, she can help initiate or maintain the healing process. Mitra strongly believes that healing comes from within. As a massage therapist, she believes she acts as a catalyst, empowering her patients to heal themselves. She vows to be safe, effective, and efficient in her practice, to actively listen and promote a stress-free environment to foster a therapeutic alliance herself and her patients. Mitra’s been honoured to work with a diverse population in my community from athletes to geriatrics to the common public with orthopaedic injuries, multiple sclerosis, pregnancy, spinal fusion, chronic low back pain, fibromyalgia, frozen shoulder, nerve impingement, spinal cord injuries, general relaxation massage and many more complex cases. Her treatments consist of myofascial release combined with deep tissue and trigger point release to help restore pain free activity by targeting tissues from the superficial to deep layers.
