Dr. Angela’s focus is on adult Internal Medicine with an additional passion for mental health and hormone balancing. From her time as a nurse and her own life experience, Dr. Angela understands the importance of trusting and working together with your practitioner through the natural transitions of life, the curveballs, and the all-out accidents. While working as a medical-surgical nurse at Stanford Hospital, she saw the amazing feats a human body is capable of with the support of a team. When life found her on the receiving end of her team’s care, she found passion in deep listening and wanted to grow into a type of practitioner who could attend, understand, and help patients uncover their healing journey. Bringing together science and the mystery of the human spirit. Dr. Angela graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco with a Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM) and a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (MSTCM). She worked in the stroke rehabilitation ward of California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco and at the community clinic as part of an integrative care system. Hailing from Minnesota, the ‘Land of 10,000 Lakes’, she loves anything and everything outdoors – especially if it involves water. In her free time she known to be found wandering in the woods foraging or frolicking, having dance/cooking parties in the kitchen, gardening, and hiking with her family. Dr. Angela’s life motto is: “It is a good day when there is even a chance of seeing a whale.” While she would like to tell you that this attitude is because of something deep – because you have a chance to see something bigger than yourself – it’s mainly because if you have a chance of seeing a whale it means you’re at the ocean and she truly loves the ocean.

Acupuncture +

The insertion of hair-thin, sterile, single-use needles into the body stimulates the body’s natural healing response through various physiological systems. The process is often painless, or nearly so, and generally very relaxing. Usually the needles are retained for 15 to 45 minutes. Your treatments may include points on your hands, arms, legs, feet, and/or head and neck.
