Kayla completed their Massage Therapy Diploma at Camosun College in Victoria. Kayla became interested in massage after working in health administration for many years, dealing with various repetitive strain injuries and general muscle tightness that led to her seeing an RMT regularly; through this, Kayla realized the value of self-care, muscle strengthening, and regular body check-ins. Kayla has always had a keen interest in anatomy and thoroughly enjoys educating patients about different muscles and MSK issues. Some of their special interests include Swedish massage, deep tissue work with trigger point release, passive movement/stretching, and myofascial release. With a dedication to helping people connect with their bodies and promote self-care, it is Kayla’s goal to work with folks who would like to build a better outlook on their body and personal wellness. Through tailored treatments, patient education, and prescribed homecare, Kayla aims to help their patients better understand their body mechanics, relieve pain and tension, and to overall help people develop a great relationship with their body.
