I began my career twenty five years ago as a Personal Trainer. I love fitness and I still do. I became certified as a trainer by the American Council on Exercise, the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association. My fitness speciality is Boxing and I taught it for ten years at the NYAC club. Later, I studied Yoga and became a teacher through the Integral Yoga Institute. I have worked with hundreds of clients and it never felt like a job. I don't teach classes anymore but I practice every morning for one hour. Yoga principles are often interwoven in the healing sessions such as: proper breathing and stretching. My world broadened with Holistic Medicine. I graduated from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with an MS degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2005. I currently focus on Orthopedic disorders. I have a NYS license in Acupuncture. In 2015, I enrolled at the Swedish College of Health Science and I studied Massage Therapy. I am licensed in Massage Therapy. Massage has made me a better Acupuncturists. I am always trying to evolve and learn in my Natural Medicine education. Currently, I am certified from Kerala Ayurveda as a Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner. Ayurveda is "Yogi Medicine" and it is teaching me the significance of a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Holistic Medicine is a tree with many branches. Learning is how we grow so I like being the student. I look forward in assisting you on your healing journey.
