Shane earned a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. After that Shane completed an Acupuncture Sports Medicine Program, became a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist, became Selective Functional Movement Assessment Certified, was trained in the Exstore Assessment and Treatment System, trained in orthopedic assessment and trained in Applied Kinesiology. Shane is a Nationally Board Certified Acupuncturist by the NCCAOM and is a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in Minnesota & Wisconsin. Shane is the founder of Precision Acupuncture in Minneapolis where he has performed tens of thousands of Acupuncture treatments. He has been serving the Minneapolis area with acupuncture for over 10 years. Mr. Berquist recently moved his personal residence to River Falls where is now excited to have a part time acupuncture practice.
During the initial visit, Shane will assess your primary complaint and overall health. Shane will answer any questions you have, as well as educate you on how acupuncture may benefit you in your unique situation. An acupuncture session will be performed. Either at your first or second visit, a care plan, Shane’s suggestion for care, will be presented along with the financials for the care plan. The first visit tends to take about 75 minutes.
