Dr. Anna Toporowska, BHSc, ND is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor who utilizes a whole-body approach to help patients find the root cause of disharmony and prevent further illness. Her main goal is always to meet the patient where they are at, without judgment or criticism, to create a plan together. This individualized plan is always focused on moving towards their best health. Dr. Anna strives to empower every patient with the information and knowledge they require to make the best decisions for their wellbeing. Dr. Anna takes a functional medicine approach to diagnosis and treatment to get to the cause of physical symptoms and heal from the inside out. She has a special interest in neuroendocrine conditions including mental emotional health, stress and sleep disorders, hormonal support, prenatal and paediatric care as well as digestive health. Dr. Anna is also a Certified Yoga Teacher and has completed additional training as a Naturopathic Doula, supporting women in pregnancy, labour and post-partum Simplifying health is at the core of her approach, focusing on optimized nourishment, lots of movement and good rest. Dr. Anna helps patients identify any diet and lifestyle habits which may be standing in the way of optimal health and works with them to create sustainable plans which promote long term health. She loves getting to know each individual patient and helping them on their journey to their best health! Dr. Anna is a registered Naturopathic Doctor with The College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO). In addition, she has her prescribing license through CONO. This allows her to prescribe bio identical hormones, desiccated thyroid and administer certain compounds by injection. Dr. Anna is also a Certified Yoga Teacher and has completed additional training as a Naturopathic Doula, supporting women in pregnancy, labour and post-partum Dr. Anna earned an Honors Specialization in Health Sciences Degree at the University of Western Ontario. From there she went on to complete her Naturopathic Degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She completed a one year internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic in Toronto, and the Brampton Naturopathic Teaching Clinic located in the Brampton Civic Hospital. Outside the clinic she loves being on the water and has a passion for music, dance and cooking. She loves to stay active through yoga, biking, hiking, gardening, travel and embracing the adventures that come her way!
