Victoria completed her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh in 2012. Following graduation, Victoria worked on the Stroke unit and neuro medical units at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh gaining experience treating a wide range of neurological conditions across the acute care spectrum before moving to Canada to travel and experience the outdoors culture. Once in Vancouver, Victoria continued to pursue a specialisation in neurological rehabilitation. Victoria has worked on the acute Neurological units and inpatient and outpatient acquired Brain Injury rehabilitation units in Vancouver. Victoria predominantly helps clients through their rehab journey who have suffered strokes, traumatic brain injuries, progressive and degenerative neurological conditions, balance disorders and general deconditioning. Victoria has a special interest in the impact of postural control on maximizing functional movement and has completed postgraduate courses in the Bobath concept, Neuro-developmental treatment courses in management of the upper limb, the Mary Massery: breathing and postural control course and Functional Electrical stimulation course. When Victoria is not working she is busy spending time with her young family and Dog and enjoys hiking, skiing and travelling.
