Known simply as Lackmi, our Registered Physiotherapist, Lackmi Vaidya has more than 13 years experience fulfilling physiotherapy duties in both clinics and hospital settings. Lackmi believes in clinical reasoning and evidence-based practices. She is adroit with manual therapies like Mobilisation, Myofascial Release, Soft/ Deep Tissue Release, Neural Mobilization, and Taping Techniques. She also incorporates personalized/ purposed-based exercise programs including core strengthening workouts, stability training, and dynamic stability disciplines. Lackmi completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India, after which she pursued Diplomas in Sports Physiotherapy, Sports Management and Sports Medicine. Currently she is working towards her Acupuncture Certification from Acupuncture Canada. As part of her ongoing education she continues to explore manual therapy, cervical dysfunction and various other specialties that help her offer the up-to-date techniques for her clientele. Apart from work, she enjoys sports like tennis, table tennis, badminton, track and field sports, and swimming.
