Hi! I’m Miranda. I was born and raised in Port Coquitlam, BC. I graduated from the University of British Columbia Okanagan with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Kinetics in 2020, then went on to complete my Masters of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia in 2022. Since graduating, I have been living and working on Vancouver Island in Victoria and have enjoyed treating individuals of all ages with various orthopedic conditions, and helping them stay engaged in their joyful activities. Working with my clients, I learned many experienced pelvic floor concerns and realized the connection between the pelvic floor and the body’s holistic functioning, which led me to pursue further education in pelvic health physiotherapy. As a competitive athlete growing up, and someone who still enjoys weightlifting, running, and sport, I am motivated to help active individuals who are experiencing pelvic floor, or general musculoskeletal concerns continue engaging in their activities – whether you are training for a race or competition, or postpartum and wanting to return to exercise, or looking to improve your day-to-day functioning. I aim to share knowledge with my clients to demystify the pelvic floor so they feel empowered about their bodies. My goal as a physio is to collaborate with each client to develop a treatment plan that includes the tools needed to optimize their health and quality of life. I strive to use a combination of exercise, Pilates, and manual therapy to help my clients achieve their goals in a way that is meaningful to the individual. Outside the clinic, I enjoy playing tennis, running local trails, and trying out new restaurants with friends and family. I am looking forward to working with you!
