Dr. Leanne Camp, DC graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2003 with her Doctor of Chiropractic. She is a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association and the Nova Scotia College of Chiropractors (NSCC) and volunteered for several years as a member of the Council of the NSCC. Prior to attending Chiropractic College, Dr. Leanne graduated from Dalhousie University with Bachelor of Science degrees in both Biology and Kinesiology. She participated in a year abroad program to the South of France through Dalhousie and does speak some French. It was during her time at Dalhousie that she discovered a desire to pursue a career in healthcare and she chose to become a chiropractor. Upon completion of her studies, she returned home to Nova Scotia where she has worked in various multidisciplinary clinics, working with a wide range of health professionals in a collaborative setting. She enjoys working with a wide range of conditions including treatment and rehabilitation of the low back, mid-back and neck related injuries, as well as conditions of the lower and upper limbs. She finds it rewarding to help people achieve a higher level of function and well-being. This includes those at many different levels; from those participating in sport at a high level, to those looking to decrease pain or increase movement. Dr. Camp enjoys staying active and participating in a wide range of activities including swimming, hiking, biking and getting outside with her husband and son.
