As a child of massage enthusiasts, my interest in self-care started at a young age. In 2012, I graduated from the Asheville School of Massage + Yoga in North Carolina. My practice is rooted in Swedish/Deep Tissue, but employs a variety of techniques and tools: cupping, stretching, Thai, heat, herbal balms, and more. I also offer Ashiatsu, where broad pressure is applied using my foot/heel and body weight, allowing gravity to assist in delivering a deep, grounding, and effective massage. This modality is great for clients who love deep work - or for those who need it, but are sensitive to direct pressure. I currently accept BlueCross BlueShield health insurance.
