Áine (pronounced Aw-nya) obtained her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from University College Dublin in 2017. Since graduation she has worked in Sports rehab and arthritis management where she treated pain, immobility, and decreased strength. She has also worked for the last few years in neurological rehab, post operative rehab and older persons care - here she has worked with people who have conditions such as stroke, parkinsons, fractures, falls, and spinal cord injuries to get strong and regain movement. Áine believes movement is medicine, and is focused on helping people from sports and non sports backgrounds return to and participate in activities they love and enjoy. She welcomes individuals of all ages and backgrounds to work with her. Áine loves sports - her main interest being Ultimate Frisbee in which she has competed in Ireland, Canada and internationally. She also enjoys music, travelling, learning about people, and sunny weather.
This appointment is for initial assessments for clients who have never seen a physiotherapist at Lift Clinic. And yes, you may take advantage of this even if you've seen another service at Lift! *** We are not accepting WSBC clients ***
