About: Health and wellness have been an integral part of my life for as long as I can remember. I always tagged along with my mom Saturday mornings to the health food store and chiropractor. She taught me how important it was to take care of my body and mind naturally. Looking back, I am grateful for her persistence because it lead me to study Nutrition in college. There I began to truly understand the transformative and healing power of holistic medicine, specifically Traditional Chinese Medicine. I gravitated towards classes like Point Location, Pulse and Tongue Diagnostics, Oriental Medicine Theory and Herbal Medicine and went farther to pursue a Masters in Traditional Oriental Medicine. Acuworx is the culmination of two decades of experience in the art of acupuncture and helping thousands of patients. Here, I have turned my passion into practice and invite you to join me in a journey to help you achieve a higher level of wellness and health. Panos holds an NCCAOM Diplomate of Oriental Medicine, MS degrees from New York University and Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, and a BA from Rutgers University. Additionally, he has devoted countless hours to volunteering and continuing education. Initial Visits are 75 minutes. Includes a comprehensive medical intake, acupuncture treatment and any modalities deemed necessary by practitioner. Chinese herbal medicine may be suggested based on each individual case. A $50 deposit is required to hold new patient Initial Visits. The remainder of your payment is due at the time of service.
