Rebekka started her career as an RMT in 2016 after graduating from Vancouver College of massage therapy (VCMT). Since then she has been taking continuing education courses in pre-and postpartum care and chronic pain management. She has a thorough understanding of how our emotional state can affect our physical body and has deepened her understanding of a trauma informed practice by learning principles and practices for integrating individual, ancestral and collective trauma. Rebekka has taught at Langara College and supervised the student massage clinic from 2018 to 2020 and completed her master’s in education at Simon Fraser University in 2022. Rebekka is passionate about creating a safe space for her clients to heal, recharge and feel at peace. Her treatments are precise and specific to her patient’s needs and presentation of symptoms. She loves to work with people of all ages with acute and chronic injuries. As a former doula and a mother of two she is well versed with pre- and postpartum care, she has worked with many concussion and whiplash patients, headaches, jaw pain, scar tissue and sport injuries. Rebekka is using a combination of manual techniques such as Myofascial release, Neuromuscular techniques, Muscle Energy Techniques, Trigger point release, Joint mobilization, Swedish relaxation massage, as well as Manual lymph drainage in her treatments.
