Dr. Alyssa Shaffer, PT, DPT, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who combines manual therapy techniques with individualized exercise programming to help patients achieve their recovery goals. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Shenandoah University in 2025 and is launching her career in outpatient orthopedics and sports rehabilitation. During her clinical training, Dr. Shaffer cultivated a particular interest in pediatric care, working with children and young adults to help them reach their highest level of function. She is dedicated to guiding patients through recovery, improving movement quality, and returning them to the activities they love. As a former gymnast and competitive cheerleader, Dr. Shaffer brings firsthand insight into the physical demands placed on athletes. This background informs her approach to sports rehabilitation and underscores her commitment to injury prevention, recovery, and performance—ensuring patients return to activity safely and confidently. Outside the clinic, Dr. Shaffer enjoys spending time with friends and family, catching new releases at the movie theater, and discovering new weekend activities.
