Svety (she/her) brings over a decade of diverse clinical experience to the Tall Tree team and is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centred care. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics from the University of Guelph and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta, graduating in 2015. Svety has pursued extensive professional development to expand her clinical expertise. She is certified in dry needling and manual therapy and has completed advanced training in treating shoulder and knee conditions, pain science, concussion management, and running injury prevention. Additionally, Svety is a certified instructor for the GLA:D program, equipping her to guide clients with arthritis through evidence-based education and exercise programs. Her clinical practice emphasizes education and collaboration, empowering clients to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey. She has a particular interest in treating shoulder injuries, chronic tendinopathies, and running-related injuries. Outside of work, Svety enjoys exploring the outdoors through trail running, rock climbing, and hiking with her dog, Hans. She is thrilled to join the Tall Tree team and looks forward to supporting the health and wellness of the James Bay community.
