Yan is a Doctor of Acupuncture and (D.Ac) and Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) with a lifelong connection to health and wellness. Growing up in a family involved in healthcare in China, she developed an early interest in helping people feel and function at their best. After moving to Canada in 2020, Yan continued her journey in healthcare, bringing together acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and hands-on therapy to provide personalized, patient-centred care. As an RMT, Yan has additional training in prenatal massage, pediatric growth and wellness massage, lymphatic drainage, and shockwave therapy. She tailors each treatment to the individual, with a focus on pain relief, mobility, recovery, and relaxation. As a Registered Acupuncturist, Yan has a special interest in pain management, fertility and women’s health, as well as cosmetic acupuncture and facial rejuvenation. She also incorporates cupping, gua sha, Tui Na, and other TCM techniques into her treatments based on each patient’s individual needs. Yan’s approach is warm, attentive, and practical. She enjoys combining acupuncture with hands- on therapy to create treatments that support both immediate concerns and overall well-being. Outside the clinic, Yan loves hiking and road trips and has driven across Canada from coast to coast.
