Reid Cowper, BSc, R.Kin, RMT Reid has had a lifelong passion for all sports, competing in hockey, skiing, volleyball, soccer, basketball and squash from a young age. He was lucky enough to continue in sport as he attended the University of Waterloo, where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Honours Kinesiology while playing on the Varsity Men’s Volleyball team (Go Warriors!). Post graduation, he was summoned by the call of the mountains, and moved to Whistler, BC, spending the next 3 years as a ski instructor, and earning the title of Whistler Blackcomb Instructor of the year in 2011. Upon returning to Ontario, Reid explored his flare for entrepreneurship while continuing his love for fitness and athletics. He, alongside his family, purchased the Racquet and Fitness Club in Elora, Ontario, and operated the business for the next 6 years. This was a unique learning experience that combined his passion for squash and tennis with his interest in business. In 2015 Reid completed his examination to become a Registered Kinesiologist. He has 3 years of experience working as a Kinesiologist in clinic, and additionally has 4 years of experience working specifically with survivors of Motor Vehicle Collisions. After discovering both an interest and aptitude for massage therapy, Reid returned to school to earn his diploma. He graduated with distinction and became an RMT in 2023. In addition to sport, Reid has immense experience with backcountry camping, canoeing and hiking, and enjoys the outdoors as often as he can. Reid brings years of experience in both athletics and rehabilitation, and is excited to be part of the WSM team!
