Gurj earned his Bachelor of Physical Education and Coaching from Douglas College in 2017 and later completed his Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University in Australia. With a strong foundation in both education and clinical practice, he brings a well-rounded and evidence-based approach to physiotherapy. Gurj works with a diverse range of clients, including ICBC patients, members of the general population, and athletes of all levels. Whether helping someone recover from a motor vehicle accident, manage chronic pain, or return to high-level sport, Gurj tailors each treatment plan to meet the unique goals and needs of his clients. He emphasizes active rehabilitation, functional movement, and patient education as key components of long-term success. Outside of the clinic, Gurj enjoys traveling, staying active in the gym, watching the latest movies, and cheering on the Vancouver Canucks. He lives by the motto “sports skills are life skills”—a belief that guides his approach to therapy.
