Kam Yan is a graduate of Physiotherapy from the University of Alberta. He started work in various hospitals and has been in private practice for the last 25 years. He is also a fully licensed Traditional Acupuncturist of BC. He is an IMS Instructor in Hong Kong and at ISTOP. He has also an Honorary Fellowship at ISTOP. His past achievements include a being speaker at the International Congress of Physiotherapy in 1972; at the Canadian Physiotherapy Association; at UBC on non-needle acupuncture, as well as at the Beijing University of China , School of Acupuncture and Moxibustion. He is an experienced Physiotherapist and Acupuncturist dealing with acute and chronic pain. His excellent clinical performance is reflected by the sustained satisfaction from his patients in relieving pain and restoring mobility.
