Nihama began her journey in physiotherapy in 2013 when she enrolled in the Bachelor of Physical Therapy program at Gujarat University, India, and graduated in 2017. Since then, she has remained committed to continuous learning and clinical growth. She holds an Honours Diploma in Health, Wellness, and Fitness from Mohawk College in Hamilton and has advanced her manual therapy skills with certifications in Integrated Dry Needling, Active Release Therapy (ART), Kinesio Taping, Maitland Joint Mobilization, Neurodynamic Techniques, and Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF). Alongside clinical practice, Nihama is deeply passionate about education and mentorship. She has supported over 200 internationally educated physiotherapists in their journey to licensure in Canada and serves as a clinical preceptor for OTA/PTA students from Mohawk College. Becoming a mother sparked her strong interest in Women’s Health. She completed specialized pelvic floor physiotherapy training through Pelvic Health Solutions in Toronto and now focuses on prenatal and postnatal care. Nihama helps women manage concerns such as pelvic and low back pain, diastasis recti, incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse, while guiding them toward a safe return to daily activities and exercise. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling and creating memories with her husband and daughter.
