Taryn Bedesky, BSc, RMT CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE Taryn graduated from D’Arcy Lane Institute in London, Ontario in 2011 after receiving an Honours Specialization in Biology degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2008. Taryn has a passion for gymnastics and cheerleading and has been an athlete and/or coach in one or both of these sports for about 20 years. She tends to treat with firm pressure but can use less pressure if requested. Taryn has some training in Thai Massage and Craniosacral Therapy and can add components of these practices into a massage. Taryn also practices cupping. Cupping Massage is the use of suction cups to help relieve fascial restrictions, adhesions and trigger points. Taryn likes to ‘dabble’ in different sports to keep things interesting. She has run a few half marathons, played intramural soccer and competed in the 2016 Crossfit Open Competition although most recently Taryn has been playing dodgeball (mostly recreationally but sometimes competitively). Taryn has a strong understanding of injuries and how massage therapy can complement many training programs and treatment plans. As of 2023 Taryn is also a paramedic and therefore has a limited availability. Although due to the enjoyment she gets from practicing massage, Taryn continues to work part-time.
