Stillpoint Acupuncture

Stillpoint Acupuncture

I am a licensed and NCCAOM board certified Acupuncturist and Natural Therapeutic Specialist with offices in Wicker Park and Evanston. Having practiced bodywork for more than 26 years, I have built a loyal client base and am always happy to welcome new clients. I specialize in women’s health and infertility, and am experienced in treating muscle and joint pain, sciatica, stress and anxiety. My purpose is to help my clients feel relaxed and renewed, with increased vitality to help achieve their health goals. I began my bodywork practice at the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics, where I graduated as a massage therapist and Natural Therapeutic Specialist in 1997. In 2004, I graduated summa cum laude from the Midwest College of Oriental Medicine, a rigorous program of more than 3,000 hours. I am a professional member of ILSA, the Illinois Society of Acupuncturists, and ASA, the American Society of Acupuncturists. I continued my acupuncture studies for fertility with well-known teachers Debra Betts and Yvonne Farrel. Over the years I’ve been lucky to work with many women from their childbearing years through menopause, and later to work with many of their children. My sessions are enhanced with Core Synchronism, a gentle, deeply relaxing energy-based work that harmonizes the physical and energetic bodies. I personalize every treatment by working with the client’s distinctive needs to reach good health and strong balance. CREDENTIALS: MSOM, Dipl. O.M. (NCCAOM), L.Ac.
