Marla obtained her degree in Massage Therapy from ICT in Halifax. She is someone who brings her passion for the practice with pride for her hometown community. Her focus is on relieving chronic pain and the effects that stress has on both the mind and therefore the body. Her technical skills and clinical focus on the relationship between the soft tissues of the body and the mental and emotional effect it plays in each person’s unique experience and day to day life. She has a special interest in trigger point therapy, myofascial release, fascial stretching and selfcare education. Her treatment plans are outcomes-based and specialized for each individual person, allowing her clients to feel both real-time and lasting positive results.
