Born and raised in Vancouver, Asahi completed her Master of Physical Therapy and Bachelor of Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia. Asahi currently holds her Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Level 1 Diploma from the CPA Orthopaedic Division and has worked with upcoming physiotherapists by mentoring them on taking the provincial exam. After graduating, Asahi gained experience in both hospital and clinic settings treating a variety of conditions including post-surgical, neurological and musculoskeletal injuries. In the clinic, Asahi utilizes a client-specific approach with hands-on treatment, education and personalized exercises to help her clients work towards their goals. Asahi is also fluent in Japanese. When she’s not working, you’ll find Asahi on the soccer field, at the gym, discovering new cafes in the city, or enjoying the latest reality TV show.
