Dr. Amber Altamura is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College, where she received her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. Prior to chiropractic school, she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science with a pre-med emphasis and a minor in Sports Psychology from Ithaca College, where she was also a member of the Women’s Varsity Rowing team. Dr. Amber is a Graston, Active Release Technique (ART) and Motion Palpation Institute certified provider. Active Release Technique is regarded as the gold standard for treating soft tissue injuries. ART can be used to treat problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments and nerves. Dr. Amber is also a Russian Kettlebell Certified Instructor and 75 Kg USAPL competitor. She is passionate about rehab and believes everyone should be able to move freely without pain.

Utilizing an orthopedic and functional assessment a plan of care will be developed using gentle, science based methods.
